Fifteen minutes until I have to leave the library for my math exam. I've gotten to the point where I really can't study anymore. I think I've done all I can and it'll be over in a few hours anyway. I am so anxious/nervous for tonight. I'm excited because my finals will be over with and I get to go home tomorrow. And I'll be spending the whole night with my friends. But this is our last night together. And it's really really sad. I really don't want to cry all night but I don't know if I'll be able to help it. Paola was right when she said that we met as strangers but are leaving as family. When you don't have your family with you in a new place you're bound to become more attached to your friends. And now I feel like I'm leaving another family behind. It blows.

party machine

Wednesday was our last RSA meeting. More happy than sad to tell you the truth. I also won a comfy Northeastern blanket which I will be putting on my bed at home. Afterwards we went to Nick and Phil's and had a wine and cheese party. Pink wine is so good and I think cheese is like my favorite food. I got some awesome videos of Nick on my phone. Thursday was write my final paper for sociology and study my ass off day. It sucked. Friday I had my natural disasters final in the morning but the rest of the day was amazing. I sat outside with everyone all day. At first it was just Pao, Alisha, and I but then Jordan, Lindsay B, Matt, Julie, MIke, Eric, Phil, Nick, Christian, and MJ all ended up coming by and hanging out. I was frolicking in the grass from 1-6. It was AWESOME.  And I even got sunburn on my nose. Then at night we went over to Rhiannan, Alexa, Lauren, and Chelsea's place for a party. I had my first jello shot. And probs got the drunkest I've gotten all year. Anyways the party was sick. After we all went for a walk and I threw myself into bed at 3:30....then proceeded to get up at 7:45am. Pao, Matt, and I volunteered with CityYear all day painting a playground. We painted a huge map of the United States of America. It was awesome and State Radio was there volunteering. Took a nap and then went to the State Radio concert. Matt and I almost died in a mash pit, my shoe got stuck to the floor with gum so I had to take it off so I wouldn't lose it, but they were sickkkkkkk. The lead singer's voice is sooo goooodddd. After I went to Phil's and hung out with Sabrina, Tiana, Joe, Greg, Rob, Phil, and Nick. Finally got a twisted tea and played some beer pong. I'm so glad I get to act like an alcoholic now because I probs won't be doing much drinking over the summer unless I'm with Ryan or visiting someone. But I don't care! I just love life.
Now I'm off the end of freshman year lunch. I will probably cry a lot. And then laundry and studying the rest of the day. Blahhhhhhh.
The fun will probably end until Tuesday night when I am officially done with my exams. We're pulling an all nighter and then I go home on Wednesday :(

Ohhh and I figured out my tattoo finally. It's going to be a siluette of a necklace that I have. It's a tree and it'll be on the back of my neck. Very, very exciting.

Oh and one more thing. My boss thought I was a lesbian because I wanted to keep a magazine that was sent to the office. It was a magazine for lesbians and I didn't know and I only wanted it because Katy Perry was on the cover and I love her.

Good way to spend my last day in the office.

Today somehow my notebook with my natural disasters notes fell behind my drawers inside my dresser. Considering my final is tomorrow for it I was a little concerned. I spent a half hour doing everything I possibly could to try and get it out, including unscrewing the back of my dresser. Somehow I got my arm to fit behind the drawer and I grabbed my notebook. But then I realized I was stuck. Angela is ignoring me as usual, Paola is sleeping, and I'm stuck in a dresser. I honestly thought I was going to have to call the fire department. However, ten minutes goes by, and several scratches and bruises later and I freed myself.

Oh and by the way my phone decided to call Constantine last night during our wine and cheese party. When I called him this morning he told me he got a call at three am to me and my friends shouting and blaring loud music talking about how we didn't want to get raped on the way to the bathroom. You would think the normal father would be a little concerned about this but no. My dad was laughing hysterically and said "good girl" when I told him we were partying on a Wednesday night. He then proceeded to ask me if I was going to have wine and cheese at the library while I was studying today. Good one.

I don't even want to know what was on that ten minute message we left him.

Right now I'm home for Easter weekend. I didn't think I'd be home for Easter because we don't get a break but luckily Ryan came in to see Umphrey's McGee with me and then we drove home together. I fly back tomorrow night but I'm hardly sad because I only have two days of classes left and then three exams and I'm done. I'm only sad to be leaving all of the friends I've made. But I think it'll be good to have some time apart too. I'm so excited for this summer and next year. I finally know what I'm gonna do with my life and I'm gonna plunge myself as far into it as I can go.
My goals are:
1) Learning as much about the world, politics, and the environment as I can over the summer
2) Having a healthy lifestyle (which means not trying a cigarette no matter how bad I want to lol)
3) Beating my dad in chess
4) Saving the world

Shouldn't be too difficult.

twilight

i finished the twilight series a couple weeks ago. i was actually expecting to become obsessed with them like everyone else. i started off with the intention of forming an opinion them so i could actually be included in the discussions about them. and that's what happened, nothing more surprisingly. the first book was basically a waste of my life but they got better as i grew to know the characters. i really don't like bella. she doesn't strike me as a very independent person and she never thinks about herself. her whining annoys me. i'm not very attracted to edward. i don't like my man's lips cold. or his hands. i'm definitely a jacob girl. but i also think jacob is too immature for bella because she seems like she has a stick up her ass. also, stephanie meyer's writing annoys me at times. she gave way too many details in the first book and it became very repetitive to me. however, her last book completely contrasts the first in this sense. the fight scene at the end of the last book was horrible. it wasn't even a fight. she builds everything up to make the reader nervous like all these main characters are gonna die and instead a bunch of vampires and werewolves sit around and have a discussion. like really? ugh it was really aggravating to me. also, bella annoys me when she doesn't tell them that she really was going through a lot of pain when she turns into a vampire. i think there should be another book. also, i thought it was bad writing when the half vampire/half human shows up in the end when the reader is made to believe that Renesmene is the first human vampire. it was much too convenient. i will give Meyer credit for selling so many books. obviously she's doing something right. either that or people really don't have good taste in books anymore. but i did want to continue to read the books. i'm not sure if it was because i was waiting for something really good to happen or if they were actually a good read.
overall, i was impressed by her ability to keep the reader intrigued. but other than that i found it to be typical teenage romance. which isn't necessarily a bad thing. if you like happy endings then read it.

I feel weird. Paola's visiting her fam in Florida and Angela's staying at her brother's house for the night.
And I'm alone.
I just feel weird.
But I talked to Lauren, Rachel, Jessica, Alicia, and Mel Bel in a video chat for like two hours so that made me feel better.
Tomorrow is gonna suck hardcore because I have to work on my stupid british literature midterm. But I figure I can get up at 9:00, get my package :), and then go straight to the library with a bagel possibly. That means I can have like...hours to get this thing done. I'm almost to the point where I don't even care how I do on it. I just want to turn it in on Monday and have a great birthday.
I'm just not looking forward to actually doing it.
My dad's coming November 9th!
Yay!
We're seeing the Bills play the Patriots.
I'm so freaking excited.
